The language bridge

Everyone works in their own language. The books stay Dutch.

The language bridge is the heart of TELMAAR. Your engineer fills in the job sheet in Polish, Turkish or Arabic. Your administration reads the same work in Dutch, with the right article code, the right VAT rate and the right amount.

Amounts, VAT rates, article codes, units, statuses and statutory fields are locked. They never change because of a translation. What does get translated is the text around them, and you see it before it reaches the customer: check first, send second.

  • Nine interface languages

Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Polish, Bulgarian and Arabic, with Arabic right to left.

  • Locked technical terms

Figures and codes are fixed. A translation does not touch them.

  • Check and send

Customer communication is ready in the customer's language and only goes out once you approve it.

Frequently asked questions about this feature

Will my customer get an invoice in my engineer's language?

No. Documents follow the customer. A Dutch customer gets a Dutch invoice, even if your engineer works in Polish.

Can a translation change an amount?

No. Amounts, VAT rates and article codes sit outside the translation and are always carried over literally.

Can I lock my own technical terms?

Yes. Your own terms and article names can be locked so they stay literal in every language.
