Ctrl+K, type, done
The command bar opens anywhere with Ctrl+K, or Cmd+K on a Mac. Type a customer name, an invoice number, a licence plate or the start of an action, and you either jump straight there or carry it out on the spot.
It saves the most time on the work you do twenty times a day: starting a new invoice, finishing a job sheet, looking up a contact. You do not have to know which menu something lives in, only what it is called.

Does the command bar work on a phone?
In the web version on a tablet or laptop, yes. In the mobile app, search sits in the bar at the top.
Does it find things I am not allowed to see?
No. The command bar only shows what your role lets you see, exactly like the rest of the screen.
Do I have to learn shortcuts?
No. Ctrl+K is the only one you need; after that you simply type where you want to go.
