You set the regime to reverse-charged per invoice or per customer. The invoice gets the correct wording and the VAT return processes it automatically.
Can I link purchase invoices to a project?
Yes. You scan or upload the purchase invoice and link it to the job. The margin per project is then immediately visible.
Does it work with subcontractors?
Yes. A subcontractor can work on the job as a user, or you book their invoice as a purchase on the project.
Can the customer follow progress?
Yes, in the customer portal they see photos, signed job sheets and the stage invoices.

- Invoice templateAn invoice has to carry certain details, otherwise your client cannot deduct the VAT. This template puts all of them in place.
- Calculate VATConvert an amount excluding VAT to including, or the other way round. Watch the second direction: 21 percent of an amount that already contains the VAT is not the VAT.
- Calculate your hourly rateStart from what you want to keep and work backwards. The dial that matters most is billable hours: you work more hours than you can invoice, and your rate has to carry the unpaid ones.
- Calculate collection costsIf an invoice stays unpaid you may claim collection costs. How much is set by decree: fixed percentages over brackets, with a minimum of 40 euro and a maximum of 6.775 euro.
